When you interact with us by completing a transaction on our website, we may collect, use, store, and disclose personal information about yourself such as: contact information, purchase history, financial information, identity information, communications’ preferences, commercial and technical information. We collect your personal information directly from you when you send us an email, fill a form on our website, create an account in the members’ space, or purchase a membership. We will not disclose your personal information outside what is required for the purpose of providing the service requested and without your consent. Instances where we may share your personal information includes our relations with third parties who perform services on our behalf, such as processing payments, hosting our website, and transmitting emails.

To allow you to access the members’ space and complete a purchase on our website: If you wish to sign up to EFT and Me to access our live or recorded webinar, you will need to create an account and purchase a subscription. When you sign up, we will collect personal information including your full name, email address, invoicing address, phone number, and language of preference for simultaneous translation. When you use a credit card to process your purchase on our website, we will collect personal information related to your credit card for the purposes of processing and administering your transaction.

To support our marketing and advertising efforts: When you sign up to our newsletter or to receive promotional communications through email, we may collect personal information such as your name and surname, email address, and information about your interests to be able to respond to your request. We will communicate with you only if you provide consent to receive our emails and you will always be free to withdraw your consent by clicking on the “unsubscribe” button at the bottom of our emails.

PROTECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

As such, your personal information can only be accessed by our team and our service providers that enable us to deliver your requested service (as described above). We will not solicit you to have access to your financial information through email. If you receive a suspicious email (e.g., claiming to be EFT and Me but not originating from our email address and requesting your personal information), send us an email so we can validate whether or not the email was legitimate. In rare cases where we might need you to reenter your financial information (e.g., if a transaction failed or we would need to issue a reimbursement), we would inform you and you would be redirected to the secure payment platform. Under no circumstances will we ask you to provide your credit card information over email.
To access areas of our website where some of your personal information may be stored (i.e., members’ area), a password is required. In no circumstances will we ask for and disclose your password. Notwithstanding, the use of online technologies can never be considered fully safe and secure despite our best efforts to protect your personal information; hence, we cannot guarantee and take responsibility for the use or misuse of your personal information when it is store on an online platform. When you create an account on our website, you agree with this privacy policy.
To further protect your personal information, we recommend taking the following steps:
